VARGORT's sponge silicone cords are a unique material that has become an essential part of a variety of applications.
These spongy silicone cords are characterized by their excellent chemical resistance, weather resistance and excellent flexibility, making them ideal for creating watertight joints.
At VARGORT we are the best in extrusion of spongy silicone cords. Our sponge silicone cord is manufactured using a uniform pressure extrusion technique, which means that the final product is very consistent and precise within its tolerances. Additionally, our sponge silicone cord undergoes rigorous testing for chemical resistance, weather resistance, and flexibility before being shipped to the customer.
Manufacture of spongy silicone laces or tires to measure
In the extrusion of spongy silicone cords our standard is with a density of 15º (0.25 gr/cm³), although we can manufacture any color from a minimum quantity and with densities of 10º (0.16gr/cm3)/25º. (0.40gr/cm3) /35º (0.55gr/cm3).
We manufacture spongy silicone cords by extrusion from 2 mm to 75 mm in diameter. We have formulations for high temperatures (up to +250ºC), and others suitable for contact with food (FDA).

These sealing gaskets are used to prevent the escape of fluids, gas, liquids and other materials. This allows users to maintain a safe and stable structure. Our sponge silicone cord can also be used to seal joints in doors and windows, as well as seal doors and hatches, helping to prevent the ingress of air, dust and moisture.
